Historic Harrington Park
Harrington Park was incorporated in 1904, but the area's history reaches much further back. The borough describes roots in the former Harrington Township and notes Revolutionary War-era history throughout the surrounding region.
The area remained largely rural into the 1800s. The former West Shore Railroad helped change Harrington Park from a farming and summer-vacation area into a modern suburb.
